Calculation of potassium value in shrimp ponds.
The salinity of seawater is 34 parts per thousand and the potassium value is 380.
How to calculate potassium value according to each salinity in shrimp pond.
Potassium value with a salinity of 1 part per thousand is:
380: 34 = 11.176
Depending on the salinity in the pond, we take 11,176 for salinity from 2_33 parts per thousand.
Example:
If the salinity in the pond is 7 parts per thousand, we take 11,176 for 7.
11.176 x 7 = 78.23
Take the pond water test and the Kali value of 78 or higher is OK.
If the potassium value is less than 78, you must add Kali fertilizer of 1 kg / 1000m2 (you can
change the amount of Potassium when you actually do it) until you reach 78.
